The DOTr-MRT3 invites qualified applicants for Administrative Assistant V (Data Controller III)/ Contractual/Salary Grade 11 under the Support Staff/Computer Section/AFCS Office:
Qualifications
Education : Completion of two years studies in college or High School Graduate with relevant vocational/trade course Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience
Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : None required for the contractual position
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Retrieval a. Schedule and perform regular downloads of data from the AFC system. b. Ensure data is retrieved accurately and in a timely manner.
- Data Validation a. Validate the integrity and completeness of downloaded data. b. Perform checks to ensure there are no discrepancies or missing data.
- Data Transformation a. Convert data from the AFC system into formats suitable for analysis and reporting.
- Data Analysis: a. Analyze data generated by the AFCS to identify trends and areas for improvement. b. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports based on AFCS data to support operational and strategic decisions. c. Conduct quality checks and validation of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Management: a. Upload ridership data into the designated system and Power BI dashboards. b. Maintain and update data records to reflect the latest ridership figures c. Ensure timely and accurate data uploads to support real-time decision-making.
- Reporting: a. Develop and maintain comprehensive AFCS reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standards. b. Review and verify the accuracy of reports before dissemination to stakeholders. c. Collaborate with other divisions to ensure data and reporting needs are met. d. Generate reports from downloaded AFC data to provide insights into fare collection and usage patterns. e. Customize reports to meet the needs of different stakeholders.
- Quality Control and Error Checking a. Ensure encoded data is accurate and free from errors. b. Implement error detection and correction mechanisms.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution a. Identify and resolve issues related to data downloads, such as connectivity problems or data corruption. b. Coordinate with AFPI for technical support if needed.
- Continuous Improvement: a. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. b. Implement best practices in data analysis and reporting to improve efficiency and effectiveness. c. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics and reporting tools.
- Collaboration and Communication: a. Work closely with IT, Operations, and Finance divisions to ensure data integrity and alignment with business objectives. b. Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Photocopy of CSC Eligibility/BAR or Board Rating/License, if applicable
- Photocopy of Authenticated Transcript of Records and Diploma
- Photocopy of Certificates of Relevant Trainings/Seminars attended
- Photocopy of Service Records/Certificate of Employment
- Photocopy of Performance rating in the last rating period, if applicable
- Other documents that may be required by this Office.
Applications with incomplete documents and submitted beyond the set deadline shall automatically disqualify the applicant in the selection process.
