Security Officer II
Safety and Security UnitContractualThe DOTr-MRT3 invites qualified applicants for one (1) Security Officer II/Salary Grade 15/Contractual under the Safety and Security Unit
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : Not required for the contractual position
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detect, prevent, and assist in the investigation of fraudulent activities affecting the operations of DOTr-MRT3.
- Monitor, detect, and report the possible commission of crimes, violations of laws, rules, regulations, and security policies within the premises and facilities of DOTr-MRT3.
- Monitor and verify the attendance and deployment of all security personnel, including detailed and contracted security guards.
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance and compliance of security personnel, including contracted security guards, with established security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and accidents occurring along the Mainline and other facilities, and coordinate with concerned offices and external agencies, such as medical personnel, rescue and fire units, the Philippine National Police, and other emergency responders, as necessary.
- Prepare and submit accurate, complete, and timely incident, accident, and security reports.
- Conduct security investigations on incidents, accidents, security breaches, and other related matters, and prepare investigation reports with appropriate findings and recommendations.
- Plan, organize, and conduct security orientations, seminars, training programs, and emergency preparedness and response drills to enhance the competence and readiness of personnel.
- Conduct mandatory security boarding and inspection of the Finance Train and First Revenue Train, and prepare the corresponding reports.
- Conduct security boarding and inspection of Dynamic Train Testing, Test Trains, and School Trains, and prepare the corresponding reports.
- Coordinate with security service providers and other concerned offices regarding the deployment, performance, discipline, and operational concerns of contracted security guards.
- Monitor compliance with security policies, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures, and recommend appropriate corrective measures to address identified security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher authority.

- Photocopy of CSC Eligibility/BAR or Board Rating/License; if applicable
- Photocopy of Authenticated Transcript of Records and Diploma;
- Photocopy of Certificates of Relevant Trainings/Seminars attended;
- Photocopy of Service Record / Certificate of Employment;
- Photocopy of Performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable); and
- Other documents that may be required by this Office.
Applications with incomplete documents and submitted beyond the set deadline shall automatically disqualify the applicant in the selection process.
